Canadian Time Zones and Your IPTV Programme Guide
Quick answer: IPTV Time Zones Canada: Canada has six time zones, and your IPTV programme guide (EPG) shows times in your device's time zone. If shows or games look hours off, set your device to the correct time zone and refresh the guide in your player.

Canada's six time zones
| Zone | Example places | Offset note |
|---|---|---|
| Pacific | Vancouver, Victoria | Three hours behind Atlantic |
| Mountain | Calgary, Edmonton, Yellowknife | Yukon stays on this time all year |
| Central | Winnipeg, Regina | Saskatchewan stays on Central Standard Time all year |
| Eastern | Toronto, Ottawa, Montréal | Most of the population |
| Atlantic | Halifax, Moncton, Charlottetown | One hour ahead of Eastern |
| Newfoundland | St. John's | Half an hour ahead of Atlantic |
Converting a game time
A 7:00 p.m. Eastern start is 4:00 p.m. Pacific, 5:00 p.m. Mountain, 6:00 p.m. Central, 8:00 p.m. Atlantic and 8:30 p.m. in Newfoundland. Because Saskatchewan and Yukon don't change clocks, their offset to other provinces changes with daylight saving time.

Suppose a game starts at 7:30 p.m. Eastern. In Winnipeg that is 6:30 p.m., in Calgary 5:30 p.m. and in Vancouver 4:30 p.m. In Halifax it starts at 8:30 p.m. and in St. John's at 9:00 p.m. If your guide shows a different time, check your device's time zone before assuming the game moved.
